The challenge
Medical files and receipts are sensitive, often large, and must stay retrievable for years without bloating the application database.
Our solution
Binary assets moved to object storage behind signed, expiring URLs; the database keeps only metadata and relationships, so queries stay fast as the archive grows.
The outcome
Storage scales independently of the database, and no file is reachable without an authorised, time-boxed link.
